This is a video of rats with spinal cord injuries and severe paralysis that are able to walk and run again through neuroprosthetics and robot rehabilitation. Researchers at Ecole Polytechnique Federale De Lausanne (EPFL) were able to show that “a severed section of the spinal cord can make a comeback when its own innate intelligence and regenerative capacity — [or termed] spinal brain — is awakened.”
